FAQ
Our first Sunday in the new building is Sunday, February 9, 2025!
Our last Sunday in our old building is Sunday, February 2. There will be no Wednesday worship on February 5, but we anticipate a quick and smooth transition!
You can find parking in our lot or at the medical offices next door. Come inside any of our marked entrances and grab a coffee or tea at the Fireside Cafe!
Drop your kids off in the Kids Church wing where they can go to their age-appropriate class, and head into the sanctuary. We will have volunteers with lanyards on who will help you find a seat.
We will sing a few songs and Pastor Barry will share a message. We will have communion and one more song before we dismiss.
Feel free to look around the building. And definitely take time to pop upstairs and visit the Youth Room!
We’re excited to meet you, so stop by the Connect Center and we would love to give you more information on how to get plugged in at Northwood!
Our Kids Ministry will have programming every time we have a worship service: Sundays at 9am + 11am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm!
Northwood Preschool starts in the new building in mid-January, before the full move is complete.
For our first Sunday, February 9, all youth will sit together in the main sanctuary at 11am. After that, the regular Youth schedule will resume:
MS & HS Worship – Sundays at 11am
MS Youth Group – Wednesdays at 5:30pm
HS Youth Group – Mondays at 5:30pm
There will be two identical services on Sundays at 9am + 11am, and Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
We are so glad you’re willing to help! As our staff is getting ready to pack, move, unpack, and clean, we are finding ways we need help! Marcia will be in contact with you as soon as an opportunity comes up. We DO have your name and your info and we are almost ready for you!
Our new sanctuary can fit 700 people!
Northwood’s parking lot has so many spaces, but as we fill those spots, we have more available. The medical clinics next door have agreed to allow us to use their parking lots on Sundays.
We have borrowed $3.85 million from Northwood family members and we hope to pay back our loans in the next four years. Plus, we have so many more improvements and upgrades to the building that we have decided to wait on until we have more funding.
